We have an urgent opening for the post of HOD - Retail Operations in leading retail optical & eye wear brand in Jharkhand

Position : HOD - Retail Operations

Location : Jharkhand (Travel across multiple store locations)

Education : Any graduate

Experience : 3 to 5 years of experience in retail operations (preferably eyewear / fashion / lifestyle segment)

Role Overview :

The Head of Department (HOD) Retail Operations will be responsible for overseeing and managing the overall performance of multiple stores across Jharkhand. This is a travel-intensive role requiring frequent visits to store locations to ensure operational excellence, drive sales growth, and maintain brand standards.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Store Operations Management

- Monitor day-to-day store operations across all assigned locations
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs, visual merchandising, and operational guidelines
- Conduct regular store audits and compliance checks

2. Sales & Business Development

- Drive sales targets and revenue growth across all stores
- Analyze sales reports, identify trends, and implement improvement strategies
- Plan and execute local marketing and promotional activities

3. Team Management & Leadership

- Supervise Store Managers and retail staff across locations
- Ensure proper staffing, training, and performance management




- Motivate teams to achieve targets and maintain high productivity

4. Customer Experience

- Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained across all stores
- Handle escalations and resolve customer concerns effectively
- Improve overall customer satisfaction and retention

5. Inventory & Stock Management

- Monitor stock levels, product availability, and replenishment
- Minimize stock losses, damages, and pilferage
- Coordinate with supply chain for smooth stock flow

6. Training & Development

- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer handling
- Identify skill gaps and implement development plans

7. Reporting & Analysis

- Prepare and present performance reports to management
- Track KPIs such as sales, conversion rate, ATV, and footfall
- Suggest actionable insights for business improvement

8. Travel & Store Visits

- Regular travel across Jharkhand to visit and monitor store performance
- Ensure consistency in execution across all locations
- Provide on-ground support and problem resolution

Package : 4.00 LPA to 5.00 LPA
