Qualifications & Prerequisites

- Education: Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or a related field
- Experience:

(1) Minimum of 4 years experience in Front Office operations, including at least 2 years in a

supervisory role

(2) Experience working with and taking care of leisure (foreign & domestic tourist), corporate, and

wedding guests

(3) Experience in heritage, boutique, or luxury hotels preferred

- Technical & Skilled Skills:

(1) Knowledge of PMS (Opera / IDS / WINHMS / etc) and Channel Management software (STAAH,

Hotel Spider, etc)

(2) Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Powerpoint

(3) Strong understanding of reservations, billing, night audit, and cash handling SOPs and policies

- Language: Fluency in English & Hindi (Written & Oral)

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

- Operational Leadership: Takes ownership of shift operations by reviewing room inventory, arrivals, departures, and daily events to ensure operational readiness and zero service disruption.
- Arrival & Departure Accountability: Ensure all check-ins and check-outs are executed efficiently, accurately, and in line with established service standards.
- Revenue Responsibility:



Actively drives room revenue by enforcing early check-in and late check-out charges, promoting paid upgrades, and maximizing cross-selling opportunities.
- Room Inventory Control: Oversees room allocation decisions to align guest preferences with availability while protecting rate integrity.
- Financial Accuracy & Billing Control: Ensures complete accuracy in billing, posting of charges, payment verification, and settlement procedures to avoid revenue leakage.
- Cash Governance: Maintains strict compliance with cash handling procedures, rebates, paid-outs, and internal control policies.
- Guest Issue Resolution: Owns guest complaints through prompt resolution, effective service recovery, and escalation of critical matters when required.
- VIP & Loyalty Management: Ensures seamless handling of VIP and repeat guests by coordinating special arrangements and personalized services.
- Reputation & Feedback Oversight: Monitors guest feedback channels and ensures corrective actions are implemented to maintain high guest satisfaction standards.
- Team Supervision & Discipline: Leads Front Desk Associates by enforcing SOP adherence, service consistency, grooming standards, and professional conduct.
- Cross-Department Coordination: Drives collaboration with Housekeeping, F&B;, Engineering, and Security to ensure flawless execution of guest services.
- Statutory Compliance & Documentation: Ensures accurate maintenance of statutory guest records, C-Forms, and regulatory documentation in compliance with local laws.
- Communication Management: Controls front desk communications including reservations, rate inquiries, guest requests, and operational coordination.
- Performance & Goal Achievement: Contributes directly to departmental targets by supporting operational excellence, guest satisfaction benchmarks, and revenue growth objectives.
