About the Role

SOLAR CONNECT is building its Kozhikode branch and looking for a Branch Head to lead North Kerala operations. This is a builder's role — you will establish the sales pipeline, build a small team, and represent SOLAR CONNECT across Kozhikode, Malappuram, Kannur, and Wayanad. You report directly to the Managing Partner with no layers in between.

This is a player-coach role. Personal sales are required from day one alongside team leadership.

What You Will Do

- Generate leads and close deals across residential, commercial, and institutional solar segments in North Kerala
- Hire and lead a BDM who works under you — you choose who joins your team
- Build commercial pipeline — hotels, schools, clinics, factories across Malabar (Kerala's mandatory commercial solar policy creates significant demand right now)
- Co-ordinate with our on-ground Liaison Officer for KSEB and MNRE filing
- Report directly to the Managing Partner — weekly pipeline review, full founder support

Targets: 8–10 personal deals/month within 3 months. Branch target 15+ deals/month within 6 months.

Who We Are Looking For

- 3+ years field sales or business development in Kerala — solar, electrical, real estate, building materials, FMCG, or similar
- Robust knowledge of North Kerala — Kozhikode, Malappuram, or Kannur — with existing relationships you can activate from week one
- Experience managing or mentoring at least one junior sales person




- Own vehicle and valid driving licence — daily field travel required
- Fluent Malayalam and working English

Advantage if you have: Prior solar EPC experience, KSEB net metering knowledge, existing commercial property owner or contractor relationships in Malabar

What You Will Earn

- Fixed salary: ₹40,000 – ₹50,000/month (based on experience)
- Commercial deals always commissioned regardless of deal count
- Quarterly branch bonus when North Kerala crosses 15 deals/month
