We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer to drive B2B sales of industrial air pollution control equipment across Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong sales acumen to develop and manage relationships with industrial clients.
This role involves frequent travel across the region and requires a proactive, results-oriented professional who can effectively handle technical sales cycles in industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and generate new business opportunities in the industrial sector across Tamil Nadu
- Promote and sell air pollution control products such as:
- Dust Collectors
- Wet & Dry Scrubbers
- HVAC Systems
- Industrial Filters
- Ducting & Air Handling Systems
- Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and site visits
- Understand customer requirements and propose customized technical solutions
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and tender documents
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Coordinate with internal engineering and project teams for execution and delivery
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- 2 to 7 years of experience in technical sales (B2B)
- Prior experience in industrial equipment or machinery sales is essential
- Strong exposure to products like:
- Air Pollution Control Systems
- HVAC / Scrubbers / Dust Collectors
- Industrial Filtration Systems
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical understanding of industrial equipment
- Proven B2B sales and negotiation skills
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-driven with a solid focus on achieving targets
- Willingness to travel extensively within Tamil Nadu
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates currently based in Tamil Nadu (preferably Chennai)
- Ability to join within 30 days
- Comfortable with frequent field visits and customer interactions
- Experience handling industrial clients, factories, and project-based sales
Compensation
- CTC: Up to 8 LPA (Negotiable based on experience and skills)
- Performance-linked incentives may be offered
