- 2 to 5 Years in CHQ Wire Drawing / Steel Wire Manufacturing
- Experience in wire drawing machine operation preferred

- Technical knowledge of wire drawing process preferred
Job Summary We are looking for an experienced CHQ Wire Draw Operator for operating and monitoring wire drawing machines used in manufacturing Cold Heading Quality (CHQ) wires. The candidate should have knowledge of wire sizes, die setting, lubrication, machine handling, quality checks, and production safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CHQ wire drawing machines efficiently
- Set dies, capstans, and machine parameters as per production requirements
- Monitor wire surface quality, diameter, and finish during production
- Ensure proper lubrication and phosphating process handling
- Maintain production targets with minimum rejection and downtime
- Perform routine machine inspection and basic maintenance
- Follow safety procedures and 5S standards on shop floor
- Coordinate with Quality and Maintenance departments
- Maintain production records and shift reports
- Handle wire coil loading/unloading activities safely
Required Skills
- Knowledge of CHQ wire drawing process
- Understanding of die maintenance and wire sizing
- Ability to use measuring instruments like micrometer/vernier
- Machine troubleshooting skills
- Awareness of safety and quality standards
- Team handling and shift working capability
