Job Title: Lab Manager / Technical Manager (NABL Authorized Signatory)

Job Summary: Metalab Analytical Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced and technically sound Lab Manager to oversee our multi-disciplinary testing facility (Metal, Rubber, Plastic, and Paint). The ideal candidate will be responsible for overall laboratory operations, ensuring strict compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards, and serving as an Authorized Signatory for test reports.

Key Responsibilities:

- Technical Supervision: Manage and oversee testing of Metals (Chemical/Mechanical), Polymers (Rubber/Plastic), and Paints as per Indian and International standards (IS, ASTM, ISO, etc.).
- NABL Compliance: Maintain and implement the Quality Management System (QMS) as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
- Report Approval: Review, verify, and approve test reports as the Authorized Signatory.
- Equipment Management: Ensure timely calibration and maintenance of all laboratory instruments.
- Quality Control: Lead Participation in Proficiency Testing (PT) and Inter-Laboratory Comparisons (ILC). Calculate Uncertainty of Measurement (MU).
- Audit Management: Facing NABL assessments and internal audits. Addressing Non-Conformities (NC)



with root cause analysis.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of chemists and technicians to ensure turnaround time (TAT) is met without compromising quality.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Metallurgy / Chemical Engineering or M.Sc. in Chemistry / Applied Chemistry.
- Experience: 5–10 years of experience in a 3rd party testing laboratory.
- Certification: Must have completed the 4-day training on ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of material testing (Metal, Rubber, Plastic, and Paint).
- Skills: Excellent understanding of NABL policies (Specific Criteria), technical auditing, and laboratory safety.

Salary Range:

- INR 6,00,000 CTC to INR 9,00,000 CTC per annum (Depending on experience)
