Vigyan Lime Group, a 77-year-old legacy brand established in 1948, is looking for a capable and practical PHP / Laravel Full-Stack Developer to support our existing developer and help complete our VOS digital platform. We are on a journey from legacy to leadership by making the company more digital, high-tech, automated and system-driven. This is a real business transformation project where the selected candidate will help complete, improve, test and launch a practical software platform for day-to-day company use.

Role Objective The selected candidate will be expected to:

- Understand the existing VOS platform and codebase.
- Work closely with our current developer.
- Complete pending modules and features.
- Improve frontend and backend functionality.
- Fix bugs and technical issues.
- Improve UI/UX and user-friendliness.
- Integrate required APIs.
- Support basic AI-based features where practical.
- Test the system properly before delivery.
- Help make the VOS platform stable, reliable and ready for daily company use.

This role is suitable for someone who is practical, sincere, technically strong, and comfortable working on an existing software project.

Educational Qualifications

- Graduate degree preferred in any of the following:
- B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, IT or related field
- BCA
- MCA
- B.Sc. IT / Computer Science
- M.Sc. IT / Computer Science
- Diploma holders in software development / web development may also apply.
- Candidates without formal IT degrees may be considered if they have strong practical experience and a good portfolio.
- Relevant certifications in PHP, Laravel, MySQL, JavaScript, web development, APIs, cloud/server handling or AI tools will be an added advantage.

Experience Required

- Minimum 2–4 years of practical web development experience preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience in PHP and MySQL is required.
- Laravel or CodeIgniter experience will be strongly preferred.

- Admin panel

- Internal business software




- Candidate should have experience working on an existing codebase, not only fresh projects.
- Candidate should be able to understand another developer’s work and continue development smoothly.
- Experience in API integrations will be preferred.
- Basic experience or interest in AI-based software features will be an added advantage.
- Freshers should not apply unless they have exceptional practical project experience.

Location Preference Preference will be given in the following order:

- Dehradun-based candidates and/or ready to move to Dehradun for this duration.
- Candidates from nearby areas or regions may apply only if they are willing to attend the Dehradun office regularly.
- Minimum 3 days per week office attendance in Dehradun is required.
- More office attendance may be required during key project review, testing, go-live or handover stages.

Key Responsibilities The selected candidate will be responsible for:

- Understanding the current VOS system.
- Reviewing pending work, bugs and missing features.
- Coordinating with the existing developer.
- Completing assigned frontend and backend tasks.
- Developing recent modules as per company requirements.
- Improving dashboards, forms, reports and user screens.
- Improving database queries and system performance where required.
- Fixing bugs quickly and responsibly.
- Integrating APIs and external tools as required.
- Supporting AI-based features where practical and feasible.
- Testing completed modules before submission.
- Supporting user-level testing and feedback.
- Making the platform stable for daily company operations.
- Maintaining proper code discipline.
- Giving daily work updates.
- Preparing basic handover notes and documentation.

Work Rules and Expectations The candidate must be comfortable with the following:

- Minimum 3 days per week attendance at Dehradun office.
- Daily progress update to management / reporting person.
- Weekly review or demo of completed work.
- Proper coordination with the existing developer.
- No live server changes without approval and backup.
- Proper testing before marking any task complete.
- Maintaining confidentiality of company data, software logic and business processes.
- NDA / confidentiality agreement may be required.
- All code, database work, designs, documentation and related development will remain company property.
- Company credentials, API keys, hosting details and internal data must not be shared or misused.
- Proper handover of code, documentation and credentials-related work is mandatory.
- Final completion will be considered only after testing, bug fixing, handover and stable usage by the team.

Project Duration and Review Structure

- Initial engagement will be for 4 months.
- Extension may be given up to 6 months, only if required.
- First performance review will be done after 15 days.
- Main review will be done after 30 days.
- Continuation will depend on:
- Speed of work
- Quality of coding
- Understanding of project
- Coordination with existing developer
- Office attendance discipline
- Actual output delivered

- Testing and bug fixing.
- User feedback implementation.
- Go-live readiness.
- Documentation and handover.
- Stabilization for daily use.

Month 5–6, if required

- Final stabilization.
- Advanced improvements.
- Additional API / AI features.
- Post-launch support and final handover.
