We are seeking a highly seasoned F&A; SME with extensive experience managing large and complex Finance & Accounting (F&A;) programs for Banks.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving service delivery excellence, building scalable, and future‑ready delivery capabilities aligned to Genpact’s digital‑first and transformation‑led operating model.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support new business opportunities, enhance service offerings, and champion best practices across all F&A; operations.

Responsibilities:

Own the Outcome

- Lead the end-to-end service delivery of for designated client accounts.
- Provide SME leadership in the pursuit of new F&A; deals across the Banking vertical
- Provide end‑to‑end leadership for modernizing and standardizing F&A; operations, enabling predictable, compliant, and “surprise‑free” service delivery.

Drive Excellence

- Lead standardization and simplification initiatives across processes, portfolios, and delivery locations.
- Build scalable operating models and delivery capabilities that support growth and increasing business complexity.

Think Transformation

- Drive transformation initiatives across processes through digitization, agentic solutions, and analytics.
- Enable continuous improvement and productivity improvement as part of the operating culture.

Strategic Client Partnership

- Grow and deepen CXO‑level client relationships in partnership with Lead Client Partners and Delivery teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor, translating client priorities into execution and transformation roadmaps that deliver measurable business outcomes.

Stakeholder Management





- Establish and sustain strong, strategic relationships with key client and Genpact stakeholders.
- Operate effectively within a global matrix organization, influencing across functions and geographies.

Thought Leadership

- Provide thought leadership across F&A; Operations and delivery transformation.
- Lead and execute complex, cross‑functional initiatives with consistency and discipline.

Qualifications/Skills we seek in you!

- Accounting qualification – Chartered Accountant
- Over 15 - 20 years of post-qualification experience
- Experience in managing Banking clients is mandatory
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of accounting principles, systems and procedures
- Proven experience in setting up, managing large spans of control (1500–2000+ team members) in a global delivery
- This leadership position demands solid executive presence, a solution-oriented mindset, and the gravitas to effectively guide finance functions across all assigned accounts, with a preference for candidates from a Banking background
- SME knowledge across RTR, FP&A;, OTC, AP, Taxes and Payroll (or at least two areas)
- Experience in transitioning to a new ERP (could be SAP, PeopleSoft etc.)
- Experience of handling F&A; Tools (e.g. Blackline, ServiceNow, Billing systems, AP workflows etc.)
- Experience with using Agentic AI solutions across F&A;
- Expert capability in generating meaningful insights from large and disparate data sources
- Experience using Business Intelligence tools such as (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik)
- Impeccable client management skills
- Transformation experience – demonstrated ability to design and execute operational transformation
