Essential Qualification Experience -:B. Sc (Microbiology/

Virology/ Biotechnology)

OR

12th pass in science subject and 2 years diploma in Medical

Laboratory Technician OR 1-yearDMLT plus one year of required experience in a recognized organization.

Desirable Qualification Experience-:

- 1-2 years of R&D; experience in a

relevant subject after obtaining the

essential qualification.

- Working experience in a clinical

microbiology / Virology laboratory

testing

- Additional research or specialized

training in virology, diagnostics,

infectious disease outbreak

investigation, or field-based sample

collection and transport during viral

outbreaks.

- Proficiency in computer applications

and data management systems,

including the use of sequence analysis

platforms for phylogenetic

interpretation.

Job requirement-:





- Perform molecular and serological

diagnostics (RT-PCR/qPCR, ELISA), including

nucleic acid extraction, assay

optimization/validation, and adherence to

internal quality control protocols.

- Work on quality assurance systems

(IQC/EQA), equipment calibration,

biosafety/biosecurity compliance, and

laboratory documentation aligned with

regulatory standards.

- Participate in outbreak investigations and

field activities

- To coordinate with the hospital team,

support training, coordinate sample logistics

and capacity building, and assist in

administrative functions (procurement,

inventory, coordination) as assigned by the

PI/Director.

Consolidated Emolument/Salary-:Salary: 20000 + HRA per month
