Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pediatric CTVS role based at Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital in Siddipet, India. The Pediatric CTVS professional will provide comprehensive pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care for children requiring cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, including participation in outpatient clinics, inpatient rounds, and critical care management. Daily responsibilities include evaluating and counseling patients and families, formulating treatment plans in coordination with multidisciplinary teams, performing or assisting in surgeries, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and quality standards.

The role also involves collaborating closely with anesthesiology, cardiology,



intensive care, nursing, and allied health teams to optimize outcomes and continuity of care. In addition, the professional may contribute to clinical audits, training of junior staff, participation in outreach programs, and support for research or quality-improvement initiatives aligned with the hospital’s mission.

Qualifications

Advanced clinical training in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery with focused expertise in pediatric cardiac surgery (MCh/DNB or equivalent in CTVS or Pediatric Cardiac Surgery preferred).

Strong proficiency in perioperative management of pediatric cardiac patients, including pre-operative evaluation, intra-operative decision-making, and post-operative critical care in a pediatric ICU setting.

Demonstrated ability to work within multidisciplinary teams, collaborating effectively with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, nurses, perfusionists, and allied health professionals.

Commitment to ethical, compassionate, and family-centered care, with excellent communication skills for counseling caregivers and supporting them through the treatment journey.

Experience or robust interest in working in high-volume, resource-conscious settings, with a focus on quality, safety, and adherence to evidence-based protocols.

Interest in teaching, mentoring junior clinicians, and participating in clinical audits, research, or quality-improvement projects is highly desirable.
