Silvāna Raipur features the Magnolia Pavilion and Primrose Ballroom for events, the Jugnoo restaurant, a Clubhouse with banquet, gym, and conference facilities, and the Sky Suite presidential rooftop penthouse. The team is intentionally small and excellent, bringing together people who notice details and take pride in quietly exceeding expectations.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Captain role based at Silvāna Raipur in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The Captain will lead the daily operations of the restaurant or banquet service area, ensuring smooth, timely, and gracious service in line with Silvāna’s “quiet luxury” philosophy.

Responsibilities include supervising and coaching service associates, briefing the team before each shift, and coordinating table allocations, reservations, and special requests. The Captain will interact with guests on the floor, anticipate needs, handle feedback or concerns,



and work closely with the culinary and bar teams to ensure accurate and efficient service. The role also involves overseeing opening and closing procedures, monitoring hygiene and safety standards, managing basic inventory requirements, and supporting events and weddings in venues such as the Magnolia Pavilion, Primrose Ballroom, and Clubhouse.

Qualifications Strong guest service and hospitality skills, including the ability to anticipate needs, handle feedback professionally, and maintain a calm, welcoming presence on the floor.

Team leadership capabilities, with experience supervising, training, and motivating service staff in a restaurant, bar, lounge, or banquet environment.

Solid operational knowledge of food and beverage service, including menu familiarity, sequence of service, table settings, and coordination with kitchen and bar teams.

Event and banquet service experience, preferably in weddings, conferences, or luxury hotel events, with comfort in managing high-volume service while maintaining quality.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently and courteously with guests, colleagues, and management.

Good organizational and time-management skills, including managing shifts, delegating tasks, and ensuring efficient service under varying levels of business.

Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards as per hotel and local regulations.
