Our projects demand engineers who are agile, technically sound, and comfortable working across diverse field conditions — from rooftop tower installations in city centres to greenfield tower foundations in rural Kerala.

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our Projects team as a Project Engineer / Site Engineer. The role involves end-to-end civil site execution for mobile tower foundations and solar panel mounting structures, ensuring all works are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. The engineer will independently manage multiple sites across Kerala, coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Mobile Tower Foundation & Structural Works

- Execute civil works for Ground-Based Towers (GBT), Rooftop Towers (RTT), and Monopole structures as per approved structural drawings.
- Carry out soil investigation, foundation design review, excavation, and concrete works for tower footings.
- Supervise reinforcement fabrication, formwork, pouring, curing, and stripping of tower foundations.
- Coordinate with telecom OEM vendors, tower erection teams, and client field engineers during construction and handover.
- Ensure all tower foundation works comply with standards defined by clients and telecom operator requirements.

2. Solar Foundation & Civil Support Works

- Execute civil works for solar panel mounting structures including pile foundations, concrete pedestals, and earthworks.
- Set out and establish ground grid layouts for solar panel arrays as per approved designs.
- Supervise pile driving, grouting, anchor bolt installation, and base frame civil works.




- Coordinate with electrical and EPC teams for seamless integration of civil and structural components.
- Ensure civil works are completed to facilitate smooth solar module installation and commissioning.

3. Site Supervision & Quality Control

- Manage and supervise daily civil site activities, labour gangs, and sub-contractors across multiple project locations.
- Verify materials on-site against approved specifications — concrete grade, steel reinforcement, aggregate quality, and waterproofing materials.
- Conduct field inspections and prepare Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) records, quality checklists, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
- Perform cube tests, slump tests, and other routine quality checks to ensure concrete compliance.

4. Planning, Scheduling & Progress Monitoring

- Prepare site activity schedules aligned with overall project timelines and coordinate resource planning.
- Track daily progress, identify delays, and proactively escalate issues with mitigation plans to the Project Manager.
- Submit Daily Progress Reports (DPR), weekly site reports, and photographic documentation of all works.
- Coordinate material procurement, logistics, and delivery schedules to avoid site stoppages.

5. HSE & Compliance

- Enforce Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) protocols at all project sites, including height safety for tower works.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings before commencement of all critical activities.
- Ensure all workers use appropriate PPE and adhere to safe working procedures at all times.
- Maintain compliance with local authority regulations, environmental guidelines, and client-specific safety standards.

6. Documentation, Billing & Coordination

- Prepare and maintain all site-level documentation: Method Statements, Risk Assessments, As-Built drawings, and material records.
- Support project billing through measurement of completed works, preparation of Running Account (RA) bills, and material reconciliation.
- Liaise with client site representatives, consultants, and local authorities for approvals, inspections, and clearances.
- Attend site review meetings, prepare minutes, and follow up on action points.

REQUIREMENTS

- B.Tech / B.E. /Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised university.
- Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on experience in civil infrastructure projects; experience in telecom tower or solar foundation works is highly preferred.
- Sound knowledge of foundation engineering,



reinforced concrete works, and structural drawings.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting civil/structural drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD for drawing interpretation and basic mark-ups.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word) for reporting, billing, and documentation.
- Ability to independently manage multiple sites across different districts of Kerala.
- Robust communication skills in Malayalam and English; Hindi is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Kerala and work on active field/construction sites.
- Valid driving licence (two-wheeler/four-wheeler) preferred for site mobility.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Prior experience working with telecom operators such as BSNL, Jio, Airtel, or Vi on tower construction projects.
- Exposure to solar EPC projects for ground-mounted or rooftop solar installations.
- Knowledge of LSGD permit and local authority approval processes in Kerala.
- Experience using project management tools such as Zoho Projects or MS Project.
