ROLE OVERVIEW

SU Square Hire Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a physically fit, responsible, and skilled Driver cum Field Worker to support on-site operations across Kerala. The incumbent will be responsible for transportation of materials, equipment, and personnel, along with hands-on field activities including solar panel cleaning, fencing repair, painting, and material handling at client sites.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Driving & Transportation

- Safely operate both heavy and light motor vehicles for site-to-site transportation of materials, equipment, and manpower.
- Ensure timely pick-up and delivery of materials as per project schedule.
- Maintain vehicle log book, fuel records, and daily trip reports.
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections; report any defects or maintenance needs promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic rules, road safety regulations, and company transport policies.

B. Solar Panel Cleaning

- Carry out regular and scheduled cleaning of solar panels at client sites using appropriate tools and methods.
- Ensure panels are cleaned without damage, maintaining optimal power generation efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols while working at heights or near electrical installations.
- Document cleaning activities and report any panel damage or irregularities to supervisor.

C. Fencing Rectification

- Inspect perimeter fencing at solar/project sites for damage, corrosion, or misalignment.
- Carry out rectification, tightening, patching, and replacement of damaged fencing sections.




- Assist in installation of new fencing as required by site management.

D. Painting Works

- Perform painting work on structures, fences, walls, and equipment as directed.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer before painting.
- Ensure neat, uniform, and durable finish as per site specifications.

E. Material Handling (Loading & Unloading)

- Load and unload equipment, water and tools at warehouses, depots, and project sites.
- Ensure safe stacking, storage, and movement of materials to avoid damage or injury.
- Assist in inventory verification during loading and unloading operations.
- Use manual or mechanical aids (trolleys, ladder, etc.) wherever available and applicable.

F. General Site Support

- Support site supervisors and technical teams with general labour and fieldwork.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping at work sites.
- Comply with all HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies at all times.
- Document the check list , photos , bills and vouchers
- Any other duties as assigned by the management from time to time.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Educational Qualification

- Minimum SSLC (Class 10 / Matriculate) pass from a recognized board.

Driving Licence

- Valid Driving Licence for both Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMV) and Light Motor Vehicles (LMV) — mandatory.
- Clean driving record with no major violations preferred.

Physical Requirements





- Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual field activities in outdoor environments.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.) typical to Kerala.
- No physical disability that restricts driving or manual handling activities.

Other Requirements

- Willingness to travel and work at any location across Kerala — pan-Kerala deployment.
- Ability to work on versatile shifts, weekends, and at remote project sites.
- Basic understanding of site safety and PPE usage.
- Good communication in Malayalam; knowledge of basic English/Hindi an added advantage.
- Trustworthy, punctual, disciplined, and team-oriented attitude.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar role (driver / field worker / site helper). Candidates with experience in solar energy projects, infrastructure works, or facility management are preferred.

- Prior experience in solar panel maintenance or cleaning — preferred.
- Hands-on experience in fencing, painting, or general civil works — preferred.
- Experience handling heavy vehicles in highway and site conditions — required.
