The Operations & Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for SCADA monitoring and substation maintenance activities across Mumbai. The role involves ensuring smooth operation of systems, timely troubleshooting, and maintaining uptime of electrical and instrumentation infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor systems through SCADA for real-time operations and alerts
- Perform routine operation & maintenance of substations
- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to electrical and instrumentation systems
- Ensure proper functioning of:
- Sensors, transmitters, and field instruments
- Control panels and SCADA systems
- Maintain logs, reports, and documentation of system performance
- Coordinate with field teams for issue resolution and maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and operating procedures
- Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of SCADA systems and monitoring
- Understanding of substation equipment and maintenance
- Knowledge of instrumentation and electrical systems
- Positive analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Willingness to travel across Mumbai for site visits
Qualification:
- Diploma or ITI
Experience:
- Fresher or up to 1 year of experience
Work Location & Shift:
- Base location: Mahim, Mumbai
- Travel required across Mumbai sites
- Rotational shifts (including day/night shifts)
