ABOUT THE RANKERS ACADEMY

The Rankers Academy, Nagpur is a premier coaching institute dedicated to preparing Class XI students for JEE Mains, NEET, and MHT-CET. With experienced faculty in Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology, we run a rigorous dual-board + competitive exam preparation model. We are expanding our operations and seeking a energetic Marketing Manager to drive student enrolment, strengthen our brand, and lead our outreach campaigns.

ROLE SUMMARY

The Marketing Manager will own end-to-end marketing strategy and execution for The Rankers Academy. This role requires someone who understands the education sector, can generate quality leads, manage a telecalling/outreach team, and build a strong local and digital brand presence — with a proven track record of at least 5 years in a similar role at a coaching institute, school, or educational organisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Admissions & Lead Generation

- Plan and execute student enrollment drives for each academic batch (JEE / NEET / MHT-CET).
- Generate and nurture leads through school visits, educational fairs, referral programs, and digital campaigns.
- Manage and monitor the telecalling team — set calling targets, track daily performance, and ensure follow-up discipline.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective students from Class X schools across Nagpur.
- Coordinate with school counselors and teachers for institutional tie-ups.

2. Brand Building & Communication

- Develop and maintain the academy's brand identity across all offline and online channels.
- Plan and publish content on social media (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, WhatsApp) regularly.
- Design or coordinate creation of banners, brochures, result posters, flyers, and digital creatives.
- Manage Google Business profile, online reviews, and directory listings.




- Draft all external communication: press releases, notifications, admission announcements.

3. Digital Marketing

- Run and optimise paid ad campaigns on Google, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and YouTube.
- Track and report on ad performance — impressions, clicks, cost per lead, conversion rates.
- Manage the academy's website content and ensure it is up-to-date with batch info, results, and events.
- Run WhatsApp broadcast campaigns and email marketing for retargeting and re-engagement.
- Leverage student toppers and results for testimonial-based content and campaign assets.

4. Events & Community Outreach

- Organise open house sessions, demo lectures, free test drives, and result felicitation events.
- Represent the academy at educational expos and career guidance seminars.
- Build relationships with Class X teachers, principals, and parent groups.
- Coordinate with local newspapers and digital news portals for coverage of academy milestones.

5. Reporting & Strategy

- Prepare weekly and monthly marketing performance reports for the Director.
- Track enrolment numbers batch-wise and map them against marketing spend.
- Analyse competitor institutes' strategies and suggest differentiation tactics.
- Manage the annual marketing budget and ensure optimal ROI on all spend.
- Maintain accurate records of all leads, conversions, and campaign data.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

- Graduate / Postgraduate in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or related field.




- Minimum 5 years of marketing experience — preferably in a coaching institute, school, or EdTech organisation.
- Proven track record of running successful student admission campaigns.
- Hands-on experience with Meta Ads, Google Ads, and social media content management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Hindi and English (Marathi preferred).
- Leadership ability to manage a small team of telecallers and content creators.
- Proficiency in MS Office / Google Sheets for data tracking and reporting.
- Highly organised, target-driven, and self-motivated with an ownership mindset.

PREFERRED (GOOD TO HAVE)

- Prior experience marketing JEE / NEET / MHT-CET coaching programs.
- Existing network with school principals and counselors in Nagpur.
- Basic video editing or Canva design skills for rapid content creation.
- Knowledge of CRM tools or lead management systems.
- Experience managing YouTube channel growth for an educational brand.
