Senior Consultant Psychologist (Malayalam Speaking)

Location: Kozhikode (Calicut), Kerala
Employment Type: Full-Time (Exclusive Association Preferred)

About the Role

Oppam is looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Consultant Psychologist to join our team in Kozhikode. The ideal candidate should have solid experience working with adult clients in professional counselling and mental health settings and be passionate about delivering high-quality psychological care.

Requirements

- Master's Degree in Psychology (Clinical Psychology/Counselling Psychology preferred)
- Minimum 5+ years of professional counselling experience
- Fluency in Malayalam and English
- Extensive experience handling adult mental health concerns
- Strong skills in assessment, case formulation, counselling, and psychotherapy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to ethical and client-centred practice

Preferred Experience

- Experience in hospitals, mental health clinics, counselling centres, rehabilitation settings, or established mental health organizations
- Regular experience conducting one-on-one counselling sessions with adult clients
- Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to teaching, academic faculty roles,



training, or classroom settings without substantial counselling practice will not be considered

Key Responsibilities

- Provide in-person psychological counselling and therapy services
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
- Maintain clinical records and documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure quality client care
- Adhere to professional and ethical standards
