To drive sales growth, dealer expansion, market development, and brand visibility for seeds and fertilizer products across Mandi and nearby territories. The role focuses on building a strong dealer network, increasing farmer engagement, and ensuring effective product placement in the market. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales Development Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Drive primary and secondary sales of seeds and fertilizers. Increase product penetration in assigned territory. Ensure regular order collection and payment follow-up. 2. Dealer Network Expansion Appoint new distributors, dealers, and retailers. Maintain healthy business relationships with channel partners. Ensure dealer profitability and long-term engagement. Monitor competitor activities and market pricing. 3. Market Development Identify high-potential villages, clusters, and markets. Expand business in maize, paddy, wheat, vegetable, and horticulture segments. 4. Farmer Engagement Conduct farmer meetings and awareness programs. Organize field demonstrations and crop seminars. Promote scientific farming practices. Build trust with progressive farmers and influencers. 5. Marketing Activities Execute seasonal campaigns and product promotions. Coordinate with marketing team for branding activities. Ensure visibility of product banners, boards, and promotional material. Manage demo plot activities. 6. Reporting & MIS Submit daily activity reports (DAR).



Maintain dealer database and market intelligence. Share competitor analysis reports. Provide weekly sales and stock reports. KPIs / Performance Metrics Monthly sales achievement (%) Current dealer appointments Secondary sales growth Collection efficiency Demo plot performance Farmer meeting count Market coverage Required Qualifications B.Sc Agriculture / M.Sc Agriculture / MBA Marketing preferred OR Graduate with strong agri-input sales experience Experience 2–5 years in seeds / fertilizers / agrochemical sales preferred. Experience in Himachal agricultural markets is highly desirable. Required Skills Strong communication and negotiation skills Dealer management Territory planning Market intelligence Sales closing ability Relationship management Basic MS Excel / reporting Preferred Candidate Profile Candidate should have strong understanding of Himachal agriculture ecosystem and market dynamics. Travel Allowance Mobile Allowance Other Requirements Must own two-wheeler Valid driving license required Willingness to travel extensively across Himachal Ideal Candidate A highly motivated sales professional who understands agriculture, believes in relationship-based selling, and can build strong market presence for Geneva Seeds and North-West Plant Nutrition in Himachal Pradesh. This role can be designed as SMO Grade-I / Grade-II depending on candidate experience.
