The role focuses on building a strong dealer network, increasing farmer engagement, and ensuring effective product placement in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Development
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Drive primary and secondary sales of seeds and fertilizers.
Increase product penetration in assigned territory.
Ensure regular order collection and payment follow-up.
2. Dealer Network Expansion
Appoint new distributors, dealers, and retailers.
Maintain healthy business relationships with channel partners.
Ensure dealer profitability and long-term engagement.
Monitor competitor activities and market pricing.
3. Market Development
Identify high-potential villages, clusters, and markets.
Expand business in maize, paddy, wheat, vegetable, and horticulture segments.
4. Farmer Engagement
Conduct farmer meetings and awareness programs.
Organize field demonstrations and crop seminars.
Promote scientific farming practices.
Build trust with progressive farmers and influencers.
5. Marketing Activities
Execute seasonal campaigns and product promotions.
Coordinate with marketing team for branding activities.
Ensure visibility of product banners, boards, and promotional material.
Manage demo plot activities.
6. Reporting & MIS
Submit daily activity reports (DAR).
Maintain dealer database and market intelligence.
Share competitor analysis reports.
Provide weekly sales and stock reports.

Required Qualifications
B.Sc Agriculture / M.Sc Agriculture / MBA Marketing preferred
OR
Graduate with solid agri-input sales experience
Experience
2–5 years in seeds / fertilizers / agrochemical sales preferred.
Experience in Himachal agricultural markets is highly desirable.
