Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Classical Dance Teacher to train and inspire students in Indian classical dance forms such as Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Kathak, or other recognized classical styles. The teacher will be responsible for developing students' dance skills, fostering cultural appreciation, and preparing students for performances, competitions, and school events.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct classical dance classes for students of various age groups.

- Teach dance techniques, postures, expressions (Abhinaya), rhythm, and choreography.

- Develop lesson plans aligned with students' skill levels and learning objectives.

- Train students for school programs, annual day celebrations, cultural events, and competitions.

- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback.

- Encourage discipline, confidence, teamwork, and stage presence among students.

- Maintain attendance and performance records of students.

- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment during practice sessions.

- Collaborate with school staff for cultural and co-curricular activities.





- Stay updated with developments in classical dance and incorporate innovative teaching methods.

Qualifications

- Degree/Diploma/Certification in Classical Dance from a recognized institution.

- Formal training in Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Kathak, or any recognized classical dance form.

- Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience in schools, academies, or cultural institutions.

- Strong knowledge of dance theory, rhythm, and stage performance.

Skills Required

- Excellent dance and choreography skills.

- Solid communication and classroom management abilities.

- Ability to motivate and mentor students.

- Creativity in designing performances and dance presentations.

- Passion for promoting Indian culture and performing arts.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
