Role Description The Lead Engineer (Trading Pricing Engine) will own the design, development, and optimization of a high-performance trading pricing engine used in dynamic, real-time environments. This full-time remote role involves architecting scalable systems, implementing robust pricing algorithms,



and ensuring low-latency data processing and reliable integrations with trading platforms and external market data sources. The person in this role will lead a small engineering squad, provide technical direction, review code, and establish best practices for performance, security, and reliability. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product and quantitative teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions, monitoring production systems, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvements in system stability and accuracy. The Lead Engineer will also mentor team members, contribute to technical roadmaps, and participate in planning and estimation to ensure timely delivery of features.
