The ideal candidate will have robust hands-on experience in mobile application development, architecture, performance optimization, reliability, and API integration. You will work closely with product, design, backend, and engineering teams to build scalable consumer-facing mobile experiences.
This role is suited for an engineer who can operate independently, make sound technical decisions, contribute to architecture, and mentor other developers.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance mobile applications for Android and/or iOS.
Own mobile features end-to-end, from technical design and implementation through testing, release, and monitoring.
Design and implement robust mobile architecture and reusable components.
Work closely with backend engineers to integrate REST APIs, WebSockets, push notifications, deep linking, and real-time services.
Optimize application performance, including startup time, memory usage, network performance, battery consumption, and UI responsiveness.
Build reliable applications with strong error handling, observability,
logging, analytics, and monitoring.
Establish and improve automated testing, CI/CD, build, release, and deployment workflows.
Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, QA, and other engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Participate in technical design reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
Identify technical risks and proactively improve application stability, maintainability, and developer productivity.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and contribute to the overall growth of the mobile engineering team.
Stay current with evolving mobile technologies, development frameworks, and platform capabilities.
