Good understanding of Android HAL architecture.
Familiarity with Treble/VINTF, AIDL, and HIDL concepts.
Experience with compliance testing suites such as CTS, VTS, and GTS.
Understanding of Android OTA/update mechanisms.
Familiarity with Virtual A/B and dynamic partitions.
Knowledge of Android security concepts (e.g., SELinux, AVB, FDE/FBE).
Build System & Tools
Experience with Yocto or Buildroot (preferred).




Strong understanding of the Android build system including Soong/Android.bp and Makefiles.
Familiarity with version control tools such as Git, Gerrit, and CI workflows.
Proficiency in shell scripting and Python scripting.

Experience in GKI migration projects.
Familiarity with Android 15/16 platform upgrades.
