Key Responsibilities

- Set up, program, and operate CNC, VMC, and HMC machines to machine complex metallic components according to production drawings.
- Interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T; specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and operational sequences.
- Select, mount, and secure appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and raw materials onto machine beds.
- Perform trial runs and calibrate machine offsets to maintain tight tolerances and minimize scrap.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments including Vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, clean coolant tanks, and report mechanical defects or tool wear to the maintenance team.
- Adhere strictly to shop floor safety protocols,



standard operating procedures (SOPs), and 5S housekeeping standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- ITI in Machinist / Turner or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3 to 6 years of hands-on shop floor experience operating CNC, VMC, and HMC machines within a heavy engineering or equipment manufacturing industry.
- Strong familiarity with CNC control systems such as Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi.
- Proficient in reading G-codes and M-codes with the ability to perform basic program editing on the machine floor.
- Robust mechanical aptitude, physical stamina, and commitment to maintaining zero-defect manufacturing.
