DEPARTMENT BRIEF
Client Services Engineering (CSE) performs a number of important roles at FactSet, including engineering solutions for our clients as well as internal solutions for the Sales, Consulting, and support teams. CSE's Production Services team is looking for a hard-working and out-of-the-box thinker who can help drive the success of these client-facing solutions and leverage their experience to bring current ideas and opportunities to the table.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build robust and scalable software using .NET Framework/Core (usually C#), TypeScript, MS SQL, Vue.js, Electron, among other technologies
- Help design and architect extensions and improvements on an already large, mission critical system as well as rapidly develop new MVPs and POCs using the latest technologies




- Help improve our code quality by performing code reviews and establish best practices for the Internal Services team
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to our technology and products
- Adaptability: Adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines
- Drive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results on schedule

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- B.Tech/B.E/MCA/M.Tech in Computer Science or related field
- 5-8 years of hands-on coding and software design experience
- Significant experience working with NET Framework, netcore or NET
- Experience with Vue.js
- Experience working in an Agile team
- You find satisfaction in a job well done and want to solve head-scratching challenges including problems with multithreading, parallelization, integration among multiple and varied systems, all while maintaining high-availability
- Experience with all phases of the software dev
