About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Web Developer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain contemporary, scalable web applications using React.js, TypeScript, and Node.js. You'll work closely with designers, QA engineers, and backend developers in an Agile environment, contributing to every stage of the development lifecycle — from writing clean, testable code to debugging production issues.

What You'll Do

- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js and TypeScript
- Build and maintain backend services using Node.js (Express/NestJS)
- Design, consume, and maintain RESTful APIs with proper validation and error handling
- Work with PostgreSQL/MySQL databases using ORMs such as Prisma, TypeORM, or Sequelize
- Implement state management using Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Context API, or React Query
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following established coding standards
- Participate in Git-based workflows — branching, pull requests, and code reviews
- Debug application issues using browser dev tools, logs, and breakpoints
- Write unit and integration tests using Jest, React Testing Library, and Supertest
- Collaborate with designers, QA engineers, and backend developers during sprint execution
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation
- Follow Agile development practices using Jira, Trello, or similar tools
- Apply security best practices, including authentication (JWT/OAuth) and secure coding standards

Must-Have Skills
- JavaScript (ES6+) — 1–5 years
- TypeScript — 1+ year
- React.js (Hooks, Components, Performance Optimization) — 1–5 years
- Node.js (Express/NestJS) — 1–5 years
- REST API development & integration — 1+ year
- PostgreSQL / MySQL
- Prisma / TypeORM / Sequelize
- HTML5, CSS3,



Flexbox, Grid, Responsive Design
- Redux Toolkit / Context API / Zustand / React Query
- JWT Authentication & OAuth
- Git & GitHub workflow
- Working knowledge of Jest / React Testing Library / Supertest

Additional Technical Requirements
- Familiarity with Git branching strategies and pull request workflows
- Experience with VS Code or Cursor IDE
- Basic Linux command line skills (SSH, environment variables, logs, permissions)
- API testing using Postman or Insomnia
- Knowledge of ESLint, Prettier, and code quality best practices
- Comfortable debugging using stack traces, logs, and browser dev tools
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Awareness of OWASP Top 10 security practices
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) is a plus

Good-to-Have Skills (Added Advantage)
- Next.js (SSR, SSG, ISR, App Router)
- Redis, BullMQ, RabbitMQ, or SQS
- MongoDB
- GraphQL (Apollo)
- Playwright or Cypress for E2E testing
- Docker and Docker Compose

- Performance optimization (Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse)
- Payment gateway integrations (Stripe/Razorpay)
- AWS S3 or third-party integrations

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 1–5 years of experience in web development using React.js and Node.js
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
