Software Engineer Python (Walk-in 5th September)

Location: Arasur, Coimbatore A Software Engineer Python is responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining scalable backend applications using Python and related technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Python development, cloud technologies, and REST APIs, along with a passion for solving technical challenges and building high-quality software products.

Role and Responsibilities

- Participate in developing innovative products by researching and implementing new technologies.
- Develop efficient Python modules and reusable libraries to improve application performance.
- Work in a fast-paced, product-focused environment with ownership of assigned features.
- Contribute to building a SaaS-based Data Fabric and Data Mesh platform that enables seamless data integration, modeling, analysis, provisioning, and monetization.
- Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and related frameworks.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver quality software solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.
- Develop and consume REST APIs and integrate with third-party services.
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Work with DevOps teams to support deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD processes.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and continuously improve technical skills.





Technical Skills

- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.
- Good knowledge of Python frameworks and libraries such as Flask, Pandas, NumPy, or similar.
- Experience in developing backend applications and RESTful APIs.
- Basic understanding of microservices architecture.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with Docker and basic knowledge of Kubernetes is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
- Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Knowledge of SQL and database design concepts.
- Exposure to Git and version control workflows.
- Understanding of JSON, REST APIs, and backend integration concepts.
- Knowledge of Snowflake or Redshift is an added advantage.

Soft Skills

- Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of unit testing and debugging techniques.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working on SaaS products or cloud-native applications is a plus.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is an advantage.
- Passion for learning recent technologies and building scalable software solutions.
