Job Description
The AWS Glue Data Engineer will be responsible for monitoring, supporting, enhancing, and troubleshooting AWS Glue-based data pipelines and workflows. This role requires hands-on experience with AWS Glue, AWS S3, SQL, Python/PySpark, data ingestion, data transformation,
job monitoring, and production support. The resource should be able to support pipeline failures, perform data validation, and coordinate with Snowflake, ODI, Oracle, and application teams for end-to-end data flow resolution.
Enhance, maintain, and support AWS Glue jobs, workflows, crawlers, data catalog objects, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
Build and support data ingestion from SFTP, APIs, JSON files, AWS S3, Oracle, Postgres, and other structured or semi-structured data sources.
Monitor Glue job execution, analyze failure logs, troubleshoot pipeline issues, and resolve data refresh delays.
Perform data transformation, validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accurate downstream reporting and analytics.
Support ServiceNow incidents, service requests, tasks, and change requests as per defined SLA and escalation process.
