JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Procurement & Cataloging Analyst to join our core Quotation Department. In this role, you will be responsible for processing institutional book lists (quotations), researching accurate data points across international and local publishing platforms, and compiling clean, comprehensive data sheets. This role requires high analytical accuracy and excellent pattern recognition/memory to manage high-volume, repetitive catalog data efficiently.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Quotation Processing:Receive and review raw book requirements and procurement lists sent by institutional clients (colleges, corporates, etc.).
- Data Extraction & Verification:Research and extract critical catalog details—including ISBN numbers, exact pricing, and transactional currencies—from primary publisher portals and major e-commerce websites like Amazon India.
- Catalog Standardization:Compile raw data into highly organized lists, ensuring accurate currency conversions and explicit pricing formats for the sales team.
- Pattern Recognition & Duplicity Control:Leverage a strong memory and eye for detail to quickly identify, cross-reference, and flag repeating titles or duplicate requests within large procurement lists.
- Publisher & Platform Sourcing:Navigate diverse international and local publisher databases smoothly to track down hard-to-find academic and reference titles.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Exceptional Memory & Attention to Detail:Outstanding retention skills to easily remember and cross-reference recurring titles across large datasets.
