Job Description Summary:
The Senior Mechanical Engineer performs complex mechanical engineering assignments, typically representing a significant portion of a larger project. This role is responsible for selecting appropriate engineering techniques to solve technical problems and for making recommendations to customers. The goal is for customers to effectively utilize company products or solutions, maximize their performance, and achieve their desired outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute complex mechanical engineering tasks as part of major projects, ensuring solutions meet technical, quality, and timeline requirements.
- Provide expert recommendations and technical guidance to customers on the optimal use of company products or solutions.
- Support customers in maximizing product performance and attaining project objectives.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions within broader project scopes.
- Prepare, review, and present detailed engineering reports,
documentation, and recommendations for both internal and customer stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements in all engineering activities.
- Remain updated on emerging trends and advancements in mechanical engineering and related fields.
Qualifications & Experience:
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 6 years relevant experience in mechanical engineering, with a solid background in delivering complex project assignments.
- Proven ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to customers and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with engineering analysis tools, CAD software, and project management systems.
- Strong collaboration, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
