Responsibilities:
- Responsible for architecting, writing technical specifications and constructing Java EE solutions based on functional specifications for recent components
- Responsible for production, development, QA Java environment design & evolution (app server, APIs, n-tier design, etc.)
- DevOps consultation when required
- Review current programs and make recommendations for improvement
- Work with other developers to ensure that software products are being built to spec and answer the specific needs of the business
- Help shape and promote department strategy, processes, Agile/Scrum-method and QA procedures
Required Knowledge And Experiences
Qualifications:
- 11+ years of experience with designing and developing Spring-based Java services
- Familiarity with Spring Boot, Spring Web, Spring Security, and Spring Data; Kafka, Cassandra
- Familiarity with Spark is desirable
- Fluency in object-oriented development, microservices architecture,
and applicable Java technologies
- Strong Linux skillsFamiliarity with AWS
