Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior SQL Developer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. Our client is a prominent GovTech company offering a cloud-based ERP solution for local governments and municipalities throughout the United States.

The contract is for 6 months, with an option to extend.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in SQL Server (2022 / T-SQL) development.
- Strong understanding of SQL Server performance tuning.
- Experience optimizing reporting databases.
- In-depth understanding of stored procedures, views, indexing, joins, and temporary tables.
- Experience analyzing and optimizing query execution plans.
- Expertise in identifying the most productive solution for complex SQL performance issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

NICE TO HAVE
- Experience supporting Tableau reporting environments.
- Familiarity with Data Warehousing concepts (current environment does not have a Data Warehouse).

RESPONSIBILITIES




- Optimize SQL Server databases for reporting workloads.
- Develop and optimize SQL views and stored procedures.
- Design and maintain indexes to improve query performance.
- Optimize joins, temporary tables, and query execution.
- Identify the best technical solution for performance bottlenecks.
- Work closely with the Tableau Developer to optimize report data retrieval.
