Senior Java Developer (Java + Rocket UniVerse DB)

Shift Timing: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST or 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST

About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Technical Support Engineer to support a long-running enterprise Document Management System platform. The ideal candidate will combine strong Java troubleshooting capabilities with excellent customer communication skills and experience supporting US-based clients.

The role involves handling production support incidents, troubleshooting application and database issues, interacting directly with customers via phone, email, and chat, and participating in enhancement and development initiatives when required. The underlying platform uses Java and Rocket UniVerse Database technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L1/L2 application support for business-critical customer environments.
- Troubleshoot application, connectivity, environmental, and performance-related issues.

- Investigate and resolve Java application issues.
- Support and troubleshoot Rocket UniVerse Database environments.
- Analyse logs, error messages, and database issues to identify root causes.

- Handle customer interactions through phone, email, and chat channels.
- Participate in customer upgrade, maintenance, and enhancement activities.
- Support API-related troubleshooting and integration issues.

- Work closely with customer stakeholders and internal technical teams.




- Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Provide timely updates and ensure high customer satisfaction.

The customer indicated the role will involve troubleshooting environment issues, connectivity issues, API-related problems, customer upgrades, and future enhancement projects.

Experience Requirements

- Exposure to Java-based applications in production environments
