We are looking for a strong SQL Server & SSIS professional with hands-on L1, L2, and L3 Production Support experience. This role is primarily focused on supporting critical production applications and ETL processes, with a mix of development and enhancement activities.
Role Split
75% Production Support
25% Development & Enhancements
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2/L3 support for SQL Server databases and SSIS applications.
- Troubleshoot production incidents, ETL failures, data load issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Analyze and resolve SQL query, stored procedure, function, trigger, and database-related issues.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
- Monitor SQL Server jobs,
ETL processes, and production environments.
- Coordinate with business and technical teams to resolve issues within SLA timelines.
- Support deployments, releases, and post-release validations.
- Enhance and optimize existing SQL code and SSIS packages.
Required Skills
- Solid experience in Microsoft SQL Server
- Hands-on experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
- Experience in L1/L2/L3 Production Support
- SQL Query Troubleshooting & Performance Tuning
- Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers
- Incident Management & Root Cause Analysis
- ETL Support and Failure Analysis
- SQL Server Agent Jobs monitoring/support
- ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing tools
Good to Have
- Exposure to Power BI (approximately 10% of the role)
- Data Warehousing concepts
- Release and Deployment support
- Basic PowerShell/Scripting knowledge
