Role Description

We are looking for a Software Test Engineer for a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India.

The role is suitable for fresh graduates and early-career professionals interested in building a career across software testing, quality assurance, manual testing, automation testing, API testing, performance testing, and application quality.

The Software Test Engineer will work closely with software developers, IT, product, data, business, and technology teams to ensure applications and digital systems are reliable, functional, secure, and aligned with business requirements.

Qualifications

- B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related discipline.
- Freshers and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with 0–5 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, QA engineering, automation testing, application testing, or related roles can apply.




- Candidates from IT services, SaaS, technology, consulting, e-commerce, finance, telecom, manufacturing, logistics, or other industries are welcome.
- Basic to good understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, STLC, test cases, defect lifecycle, and quality assurance.
- Familiarity with manual testing, regression testing, functional testing, integration testing, and system testing.
- Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar tools will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
- Familiarity with Postman, REST APIs, API testing, or web services will be beneficial.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and databases will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with defect-management tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms will be beneficial.
- Exposure to Java, Python, JavaScript, or another programming language will be an advantage for automation-testing roles.
- Basic understanding of Git, CI/CD, Agile, Scrum, or DevOps practices will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Good analytical, observation, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify functional and technical issues.
- Positive communication, documentation, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with developers, users, and cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work in an on-site environment.
- Internship, certification, software-testing project, academic project, GitHub project, or hands-on QA experience will be considered and is not mandatory.
- Strong willingness to learn new testing tools, technologies, and quality practices.
