We are seeking a motivated Software Engineering Intern to join our Agile development team. You will gain hands-on experience across the full software development lifecycle, working on enterprise applications. You'll contribute to database design, backend services, and front-end development using Java (Spring Boot), Python, and JavaScript frameworks (React/VueJS), while receiving mentorship from experienced engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Backend Development & API Engineering
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and Python
- Build RESTful APIs with authentication and authorization
- Write unit tests and integration tests for code reliability
Frontend Development & User Experience
- Build responsive user interfaces using JavaScript/TypeScript and React.js/Vue.js
- Implement state management and integrate with backend APIs
Database Design & Optimization
- Design relational database schemas using PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle
- Write complex SQL queries and optimize database performance
Agile Practices & Team Collaboration
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Engage in code reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Use version control systems (Git and SVN) following branching strategies
- Includes other technical functions like testing etc.
Continuous Learning & Career development
- Learn internal tools, frameworks, and security protocols (OAuth, JWT)
- Troubleshoot issues across the full stack and document solutions
