About The Role The Actimize SME (Subject Matter Expert) role at TCS is a critical position designed for professionals with deep expertise in financial crime management solutions. The incumbent will be responsible for providing specialized knowledge and technical guidance on Actimize applications within Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Fraud Detection, and Compliance domains.

This role involves collaborating closely with clients to understand their requirements, designing effective solutions, and ensuring the seamless implementation of Actimize modules. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, technical proficiency, and a comprehensive understanding of financial crime prevention workflows. This position offers an opportunity to work on complex projects, enhance domain expertise, and contribute to the safety and integrity of financial systems across diverse banking and financial institutions.

Qualifications Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in financial crime compliance, with a focus on Actimize applications. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,



Information Technology, Finance, or related fields is essential.

Certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) are highly desirable and considered an added advantage. The candidate should demonstrate strong techno-functional expertise, particularly in modules like SAM, WLF, CDD/KYC, and IFM. Familiarity with Actimize Visual Modeler, Risk-Case Manager Designer, and AIS is required.

Candidates must have excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients. Prior experience in creating regression test suites and understanding upstream/downstream data flows will be beneficial.

Responsibilities

- Engage with clients to gather and analyze requirements related to Actimize solutions within AML, Fraud Detection, and Compliance domains.
- Provide expert guidance on the end-to-end flow of Actimize applications, ensuring optimal implementation and configuration of modules such as SAM, RCM, SAR, CDD/KYC, WLF, and IFM.
- Analyze transaction monitoring processes, alert management, and case workflows to identify areas for enhancement and automation.
- Design and develop regression test suites to validate end-to-end data flow across upstream and downstream systems, ensuring system integrity and performance.




- Collaborate with technical teams to customize and optimize Actimize modules based on client-specific regulatory requirements and operational needs.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Actimize applications, providing timely solutions to minimize operational disruptions.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in financial crime compliance, AML regulations, and Actimize platform enhancements.
- Support training and knowledge transfer sessions for client teams and internal stakeholders to ensure effective utilization of Actimize solutions.
