What you will do?

- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using Python and Django.
- Translate product ideas into robust technical solutions, taking features from concept to production.
- Design clean system architectures, database schemas, and APIs with scalability, reliability, and maintainability in mind.
- Collaborate with AI to brainstorm solutions, accelerate development, and improve productivity while applying sound engineering judgment.
- Think through edge cases, performance bottlenecks, security considerations, and failure scenarios before implementation.
- Build AI-powered features, automate workflows, and experiment with emerging technologies to create better products.
- Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code, and participate in code reviews to uphold engineering quality.
- Debug production issues, optimize application performance, and continuously improve system reliability.
- Work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
- Continuously learn, experiment, and contribute ideas that improve our products, engineering practices, and developer experience.

What are we looking for?





- 2-5 years of experience building production-grade backend applications using Python and Django.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and software design principles.
- Ability to independently design scalable systems, APIs, database schemas, and backend architectures with a strong focus on maintainability, performance, and reliability.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify edge cases, trade-offs, failure scenarios, and production bottlenecks before implementation.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL/SQL, REST APIs, authentication, caching, asynchronous processing, and distributed systems concepts.
- Comfortable using AI-powered development tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) to accelerate development while critically evaluating AI-generated code.
- Experience building AI-powered products, LLM integrations, agentic workflows, RAG pipelines, or AI-assisted developer tooling is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably AWS), Docker, Linux, CI/CD, Git, and basic DevOps practices.
- Experience with Redis, Celery, Kafka, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Nginx, or similar backend infrastructure is a plus.
- Strong debugging, communication, and collaboration skills, with a high sense of ownership and accountability.
- Curious to learn continuously, embrace current technologies, and build products with speed, quality, and customer impact.
