Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer with 6–9 years of experience in designing and developing scalable, high-performance backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, Kubernetes, and AWS/Cloud technologies.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in backend development, distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and troubleshooting complex technical issues across multi-tier architectures.

Must-Have Skills

- Java 17 or above
- Strong experience with JPA / Hibernate
- Spring Boot
- Microservices & REST APIs
- Apache Kafka
- Kubernetes
- AWS or any Cloud infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts
- Experience in developing scalable and high-performance applications
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and Microservices.
- Implement event-driven solutions using Kafka.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications in Kubernetes and Cloud environments.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and performant code.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across multi-tiered and distributed architectures.




- Analyze application performance and identify bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with Architects, Developers, QA, DevOps, and Product teams.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and API standards.
- Contribute to technical design and architecture discussions.

Valuable-to-Have Skills
- Strong understanding of Design Patterns
- Knowledge of API Standards and best practices
- Experience with Event-Driven Architecture
- Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
- Experience with GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted programming tools
- Experience with Karate or other testing frameworks
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Experience with performance tuning and production issue resolution

Candidate Profile
- 6–9 years of hands-on experience in Java Backend Development.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Java fundamentals.
- Good experience working with distributed systems and microservices.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
