About Skitii

Skitii is a healthcare technology product being developed for use in oncology care. We are looking for a senior developer who can take strong technical ownership of our web, mobile, backend and cloud infrastructure and help us build a reliable, scalable and deployment-ready product.

This is a hands-on engineering role. We are looking for someone who can both write production-quality code and make sound architectural decisions, rather than someone focused only on people management.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and contribute to the architecture and development of Skitii's technology stack.
- Develop scalable web applications using React.js.
- Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native.
- Design and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js.
- Build and maintain REST APIs, authentication, databases and integrations.
- Manage application infrastructure and deployments on AWS.
- Design, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing and deployment.
- Manage development, staging and production environments.
- Troubleshoot deployment, performance and production issues.
- Implement secure coding practices, access controls and data protection measures.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards are followed.
- Improve application performance, reliability, maintainability and scalability.
- Work with databases and perform CRUD operations, data modelling and API integration.
- Maintain Git repositories, branching strategies, version control and release processes.
- Create and maintain appropriate technical documentation.
- Work closely with product, design, clinical and management teams to convert requirements into technical solutions.
- Guide junior/mid-level developers and review their technical work.




- Evaluate recent technologies objectively and recommend changes based on product requirements, maintainability, security and long-term scalability.
- Take ownership of production releases and post-deployment monitoring.

Mandatory Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience with:

AWS & DevOps Experience The candidate should be comfortable working independently with AWS and deployment infrastructure, including relevant experience with services such as:
- EC2
- S3
- RDS / database services
- CloudFront
- Route 53
- IAM
- CloudWatch
- Lambda, where applicable
- Load balancing and scaling
- Environment and secrets management

Experience creating or managing deployment pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins or equivalent is important. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate should:

- Have approximately 6–8+ years of software development experience.
- Have substantial hands-on full-stack development experience.
- Be comfortable owning a product rather than working only on isolated tickets.
- Be able to independently understand an existing codebase.
- Have experience taking applications from development to production.
- Understand architecture, scalability, security and maintainability.
- Be capable of making technical decisions after evaluating multiple options.
- Have strong debugging and problem-solving skills.




- Be comfortable working in a fast-moving product/startup environment.
- Be willing to mentor other developers while remaining actively involved in coding.
- Communicate technical risks, timelines and trade-offs clearly to management.

Preferred / Added Advantage Experience in any of the following will be valuable:
- Healthcare technology
- Medical-device software or SaMD
- Applications handling sensitive user or health-related data
- Bluetooth/BLE device integrations
- IoT or wearable integrations
- Real-time data processing
- Tablet/kiosk applications

What Success in This Role Looks Like The Senior Developer will be expected to take technical ownership of Skitii and ensure that:
- The codebase remains maintainable and well documented.
- Releases are predictable and stable.
- CI/CD and deployment processes are properly controlled.
- Production issues are identified and resolved quickly.
- Technical decisions support the long-term product roadmap.
- Junior developers receive appropriate technical guidance.
- The platform is built with security, scalability and reliability in mind.

Compensation 20–24 Lakhs per annum, based on experience, technical depth, current compensation and performance during the selection process.

Work Structure

This is a hybrid role with regular in-office working expected.

Working schedule:

Monday to Friday – Full working day

Saturday – Half day

Candidates looking for a completely remote role may not be suitable for this position.
