Position Overview

We are seeking a Software Developer to design, develop, test, and support a cloud-based sales platform built on AWS. The developer will work across frontend applications, backend APIs, databases, asynchronous processes, and third-party integrations.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, AWS serverless services, PostgreSQL, and REST APIs. This role requires close collaboration with architects, business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and product owners.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain web applications using React, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Build serverless APIs and backend services using Node.js, AWS Lambda, and Amazon API Gateway.
- Develop asynchronous workers, scheduled jobs, and event-driven processes.
- Create and maintain REST API integrations with internal and third-party systems.
- Integrate with enterprise platforms such as Oracle, Deposco, SharePoint, SendGrid, Snowflake, and other SaaS applications.
- Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, database objects, and data-access components using PostgreSQL or Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL.
- Work with Amazon MSK/Kafka and Amazon EventBridge for event-driven and asynchronous processing.
- Implement authentication and authorization using Amazon Cognito, Microsoft Entra ID, SAML, OAuth, and JWT.
- Work with Amazon S3 and CloudFront to support static web content and object storage.
- Package and deploy application components using Amazon ECR and automated deployment pipelines.
- Securely manage application credentials and configuration using AWS Secrets Manager and Parameter Store.
- Implement application logging, monitoring, and alerting using Amazon CloudWatch and Datadog.
- Write clean, secure,



testable, and maintainable code following established development standards.
- Create unit and integration tests and support QA and user-acceptance testing.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, technical discussions, and solution-design sessions.
- Troubleshoot application, API, database, integration, authentication, and performance issues.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
- Support application deployments and resolve production issues when required.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong programming experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Experience developing frontend applications using React and Next.js.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience with AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway, Amazon S3, and Amazon CloudFront.
- Robust SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL or another relational database.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven application patterns.
- Experience with Git-based source control and software-development workflows.
- Understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and secrets management.




- Experience troubleshooting applications across development, testing, and production environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Amazon Cognito and Microsoft Entra ID integration.
- Knowledge of SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT authentication.
- Experience with Kafka, Amazon MSK, or other messaging platforms.
- Experience using Amazon EventBridge, Amazon ECR, CloudWatch, AWS Secrets Manager, Parameter Store, and AWS KMS.
- Familiarity with AWS networking concepts, including VPCs, private subnets, and NAT Gateways.
- Experience integrating applications with Oracle, SharePoint, SendGrid, Snowflake, Deposco, or similar enterprise systems.
- Experience using Datadog or similar application-monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
- AWS certification is a plus.
