? Role: Snowflake Expert / Senior Data Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on Snowflake Expert / Senior Data Engineer to join our data engineering team and take ownership of enterprise-scale data solutions across architecture, development, multi-tenancy implementation, performance optimization, and production support.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Snowflake, SQL, dbt, Python, and Airflow/Astronomer, along with strong experience in data modeling, security, performance tuning, and designing scalable multi-tenant data architectures.

? Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement scalable Snowflake data solutions for enterprise environments.
- Design and implement multi-tenant data architectures in Snowflake, ensuring secure tenant isolation, scalability, maintainability, and optimal resource utilization.
- Define appropriate database, schema, role, warehouse, and access-control strategies for multi-tenant environments.
- Implement tenant-level data isolation, RBAC, masking policies, row-level security, and secure access patterns.
- Design solutions that support onboarding of new tenants with minimal manual intervention while maintaining consistent governance and security.
- Build and optimize complex SQL queries, tables, views, stored procedures, and data pipelines.
- Design and maintain raw, curated, dimensional, and reporting/data-mart layers.
- Develop robust ELT/ETL transformations using dbt.
- Build, orchestrate, monitor, and support data pipelines using Apache Airflow / Astronomer.
- Perform Snowflake query, warehouse, performance,



and cost optimization, including optimization strategies for multi-tenant workloads.
- Implement and manage Snowflake Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, Snowpark, and Secure Data Sharing.
- Design and maintain enterprise RBAC, masking policies, row-level security, and data-access controls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production, performance, data-quality, and pipeline issues.
- Establish monitoring and operational practices to identify tenant-specific performance, data-quality, and resource-utilization issues.
- Conduct technical and code reviews while ensuring engineering best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other data engineers.
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions.

? Required Skills & Experience:

- 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Warehousing.
- 4+ years of strong hands-on Snowflake experience in enterprise environments.
- Expert-level knowledge of SQL and Snowflake performance tuning.
- Strong experience designing and implementing multi-tenant data architectures.
- Strong understanding of tenant isolation, security boundaries, RBAC, row-level security, and data governance.
- Strong hands-on experience with dbt, Python, and Airflow/Astronomer.




- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT, data modeling, dimensional modeling, and data warehouse architecture.
- Experience with Snowflake security, RBAC, data sharing, masking, and access controls.
- Strong understanding of Snowflake cost optimization, warehouse sizing, workload management, and resource utilization.
- Experience with Git/GitHub, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently own solutions from architecture and design through development, optimization, deployment, and production support.

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

- Snowflake certification.
- Experience working with large-scale enterprise Snowflake environments.
- Proven experience implementing multi-tenant SaaS/data platforms.
- Experience designing scalable tenant onboarding and provisioning frameworks.
- Experience in Financial Services, Mortgage, Banking, or Capital Markets.
- Exposure to Sigma, Power BI, Monte Carlo, Sifflet, or similar data/BI/observability platforms.
- Experience designing highly scalable, secure, and governed cloud data platforms.
