Job Responsibilities

- Guide and supervise samplers in collecting coal samples as per the prescribed sampling procedure.

- Ensure proper collection of representative samples through correct increment sampling techniques.

- Supervise day-to-day coal sampling activities at the client plant.

- Monitor sampling procedures to ensure compliance with applicable standards and requirements.

- Verify proper sample identification, handling, labeling, and documentation.

- Prepare sampling reports and maintain required records.

- Coordinate with the client and sampling team for smooth execution of sampling activities.

- Ensure sampling activities are performed safely and efficiently.

- Report any deviation or issue related to sampling to the concerned authority.

- Perform other sampling-related activities as assigned.

Essential Qualification & Experience

- Qualification: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Science or Chemistry or related field.

- Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.

- Robust practical knowledge of coal sampling techniques is mandatory.

- Experience in coal sampling at a plant/site will be preferred.

- Good documentation and reporting skills.

- Willingness to work at the client site in Dhanbad.
