We are seeking a QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of complex web applications across diverse business domains. The role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on testing expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and AI-equipped, leveraging tools like ChatGPT/Claude to enhance QA workflows.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Build a strong understanding of the assigned task, project, business domain, and workflows.

- Analyze business and technical requirements, identify ambiguities, gaps, dependencies, and potential risks before development begins.

- Prepare test estimates and testing approaches based on feature complexity, scope, dependencies, and release timelines.

- Participate in requirement grooming, sprint planning, and review discussions and provide QA inputs from a testability and risk perspective.

- Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios for web applications.

- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Cross-Browser, and Responsive Testing.

- Perform Smoke, Sanity, and Release/Build Verification Testing across Dev, QA/Staging, and Production environments as applicable.

- Work on multiple projects and understand different business domains and complex workflows.

- Identify bugs, risks, and edge cases using strong logical and analytical thinking.





- Create and maintain test documentation and report defects effectively.

- Collaborate with developers, project teams, and clients to ensure product quality.

- Proactively communicate testing status, risks, and issues.

- Mentor junior QA members on test design, defect reporting, domain understanding, and QA processes.

- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT/Claude for test case generation, requirement analysis, edge cases, and daily QA tasks.

- Automation experience is a plus, especially Playwright with Python.

Requirement and Skills

- Candidate should have 3–5 years of QA experience.

- Experience working on multiple projects and domains; preferably around 6–8 projects.

- Strong experience in Web Application Testing.

- Experience with complex projects such as Insurance, LMS, or enterprise applications is a plus.

- Experience working on service-based/client projects is preferred.

- Knowledge of API Testing is preferred but not mandatory.

- Familiarity with QA tools such as Jira, Postman, JMeter, etc.

- Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Should be vocal, confident, and proactive.

- Fluent communication is required.

- Valuable automation experience, especially Playwright with Python, will be an added advantage.

- Should be AI-equipped and know how to use ChatGPT/Claude effectively through proper prompting for testing and daily tasks.
