About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Technical Lead – Software Engineering to join our dynamic team in Mangalore. This pivotal role requires a candidate with at least 5 years of hands-on software development experience, especially in Python, who can drive the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a focus on best practices, performance, and scalability. The successful candidate will take ownership of designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining our core systems while mentoring junior developers and ensuring adherence to high-quality standards.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. They should have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on Python programming. Proven experience leading and mentoring teams of at least two developers is essential.





Candidates must demonstrate a solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and software engineering best practices. Familiarity with Python frameworks such as Django and Flask, as well as microservices architecture, is required.

Experience working with AI Large Language Models (LLMs), including API-driven models like OpenAI and Claude, as well as open-source models such as DeepSeek and Llama, is highly desirable. The candidate should also have a robust background in performance optimization, debugging, and implementing scalable cloud solutions using AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities The Associate Technical Lead will be responsible for overseeing and enforcing SDLC best practices, ensuring comprehensive documentation and adherence to development workflows. They will mentor and lead a team of three or more developers, providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and supporting their professional growth. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, including the Technical Lead and Manager, the candidate will participate in finalizing design documents such as wireframes, database schemas, and pseudocode.

Designing and maintaining scalable application architectures, including microservices, cloud infrastructure, and containerization with Docker, will be a core part of the role. The candidate will focus on optimizing code performance, security, and maintainability, ensuring high standards are met across all deliverables.



Conducting thorough code reviews to enforce coding standards and architecture guidelines is essential.

Supporting continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), implementing DevSecOps practices, and ensuring security compliance will be key responsibilities. The candidate will manage technical debt, execute proof-of-concept (POC) projects within specified timelines using open-source frameworks, and support production monitoring, resource optimization, and scalability of deployed applications. The role also involves troubleshooting complex issues, improving system performance, and implementing innovative solutions to meet evolving business needs.
