We are currently hiring for aPython Developer role with VLink India Pvt Ltd, supporting our client BlackRock.
Please find the requirements below:
- 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in Python development
- Good understanding of Perl, with the ability to read, understand, modify, and migrate existing Perl code to Python
- Experience working with Sybase and SQL in Python and/or Perl applications
- Strong understanding of database concepts, SQL queries, joins, filtering, and program controls
- Hands-on experience working with stored procedures, including understanding, modifying, and implementing them
- Good understanding of database-driven application development and troubleshooting
- Experience writing unit tests and integration tests
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills,
including the ability to debug scripts from the Linux command line in production environments
- Strong Linux/Unix command-line skills
- Ability to independently analyze problems, identify root causes, and implement solutions with minimal supervision
- Experience working with Ansible or other automation tools is an added advantage
- Exposure to AI/ML technologies is preferred
- Experience with Agentic AI is highly desirable
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle and coding best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Positive communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with technical teams
