Seeking a Senior Engineer (6 years) with robust expertise in both Django (Python) full‑stack development and Java-based microservices. The ideal candidate excels at building end‑to‑end web applications using Django Views/Templates and DRF, while also designing and delivering scalable RESTful microservices with Spring Boot. FastAPI experience and exposure to GenAI initiatives are preferred.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop full‑stack web applications using Django, Django Views/Templates, and Django Rest Framework (DRF).
- Build,



secure, and scale RESTful microservices in Java using Spring Boot; implement clean APIs, fault tolerance, and observability.
- Develop and maintain robust database models, queries, and performance tuning across relational databases.
- Implement front‑end pages using Django templates with HTML/CSS/JavaScript; integrate with DRF APIs.
- Adopt best practices for code quality, testing, and CI/CD (unit/integration tests, code reviews, pipelines).
- Collaborate with product and platform teams to translate requirements into reliable, production‑ready services.
- Apply API design standards, authentication/authorization patterns, and secure coding practices.
- Optionally build Python microservices/APIs using FastAPI for targeted workloads.
- Contribute to exploratory GenAI use cases (e.g., LLM integrations, prompt flows, service orchestration).

Must‑Have Skills

- Strong Java programming, OOP, design patterns, and DB programming.
- Very strong Django full‑stack development with Django Views & Templates.
- Very strong experience with Django Rest Framework (DRF) for REST API development.
- Proficiency with SQL and RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle), ORM usage, indexing, and query optimization.
- Spring Boot microservice development: REST, dependency injection, build tools (Maven/Gradle), and testing (JUnit).
- Solid understanding of API security (OAuth2/JWT), rate limiting, logging, and monitoring.
- Version control with Git and practical experience with CI/CD workflows.
