Pipeline & Integration Engineering

- Experience with:

- Message queues

- Retry and idempotency patterns
- Dead-letter queues
- High-volume batch and file processing

- SFTP automation

- PGP encryption
- SQL schema design and query optimization.

Orchestration & Scheduling

- Workflow and state-machine design.

- Scheduling frameworks such as

- Celery

- APScheduler
- Cron-based scheduling
- Event-driven processing.

Cross-Cutting Engineering Skills

- CI/CD pipelines.
- Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift preferred).
- Observability through structured logging, metrics, and alerting.
- Comfortable working across multiple modules in a lean engineering team.

AI-Assisted Development

- Daily experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code or similar tools.
- Ability to use AI for:

- Boilerplate generation

- Test generation

- Code review
- Strong judgment to verify AI-generated domain logic against specifications.

Healthcare EDI

- Knowledge of X12 transaction sets:
- 835 (Remittance Advice)
- 837 (Healthcare Claims)

- Understanding of

- ISA/GS/ST envelopes

- Loops and segments

- TA1 and 999 acknowledgments
- Experience with tools such as pyx12 or LinuxForHealth EDI tooling.

Revenue Cycle Management

- Claims lifecycle
- Remittance posting
- Denial management
- Clearinghouse integrations.





Front-End Experience

- Experience with a modern SPA framework.

- Building
- Data-heavy dashboards

- Data grids
- Operational monitoring interfaces.

Compliance & Delivery

- HIPAA and PHI handling awareness.
- Agile delivery experience with dedicated BA and QA teams.

Nice to Have

- Healthcare RCM product development experience.
- Experience building PHI-protected services from the ground up.
- Familiarity with OpenShift, Docker, and cloud-native deployments.
