Role Overview

We’re looking for a highly capable Node.js developer to optimise our web-based application performance. You’ll collaborate with front-end application developers, design back-end components, and integrate data storage and protection solutions. To succeed in this role, you should have extensive knowledge of Node.js-based services and frameworks, with expertise that results in the stable, fast, and secure exchange of data between servers and end-users.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain all server-side network components.
- Ensure optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests.
- Collaborate with front-end developers on the integration of elements.
- Design customer-facing UI and back-end services for various business processes.
- Develop high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code.
- Implement effective security protocols, authentication (JWT/OAuth), data protection measures, and storage solutions.
- Run diagnostic tests, repair defects, and provide technical support.
- Document Node.js processes, including database schemas, and prepare reports.




- Recommend and implement improvements to processes and technologies.
- Keep informed of advancements in the Node.js ecosystem.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- BE/B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering, MCA, or a related field.
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Node.js developer.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js with a framework such as Express.js, NestJS, or Fastify.
- Extensive knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3.
- Superb interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving aptitude.

Good to Have

- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Supertest.
- Familiarity with microservices and containerisation using Docker.
- Experience with Redis for caching and session management.
- Understanding of message queues and event-driven architecture (RabbitMQ or Kafka).
- Experience with REST and GraphQL API design.
- Exposure to cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.

Eligibility

- 2+ years of hands-on Node.js development experience.
- Available to work in office in Gurugram, 5 days a week.
- Availability to resolve urgent web application issues outside of business hours when needed.
