Role Summary

We are seeking a forward-looking Lead Full Stack Developer to design, build, and scale cloud-native applications leveraging Java, Spring Boot, Angular, AWS technologies, and modern software engineering practices. The ideal candidate is a strong full-stack engineer with deep expertise across backend services, modern web application development, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures. The role also requires familiarity with AI-assisted development practices and an interest in incorporating AI-powered capabilities into business solutions where appropriate.

The ideal candidate is a self-driven engineering professional who demonstrates strong ownership, sound technical judgment, and the ability to deliver results with minimal oversight. This individual will lead by example, proactively identify and address challenges, effectively communicate across stakeholders, and mentor team members while contributing hands-on to the design, development, and delivery of mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using AWS services and modern engineering practices.
- Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using Angular, TypeScript, and contemporary frontend development practices.
- Build responsive, performant, and user-friendly experiences in partnership with product owners and business stakeholders.
- Develop scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices-based architectures.
- Contribute across the full technology stack, from user interfaces through APIs, business services, cloud infrastructure, and production support.
- Implement best practices for cloud architecture, security, observability, performance, and resiliency.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud applications.
- Utilize Delta-approved AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Kiro) to improve engineering productivity, code quality, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting.
- Evaluate and incorporate AI-powered capabilities into applications when they provide measurable business value.
- Demonstrate end-to-end ownership of technical solutions from design through production support, driving delivery with minimal supervision.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and coaching to engineers across the team.

What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.




- Strong hands-on experience developing enterprise web applications using Angular, TypeScript, and modern frontend development patterns.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and building distributed systems.
- Experience deploying and managing applications using ROSA, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Robust programming skills in Java; working knowledge of Python is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience using Delta-approved AI-assisted development tools to support coding, testing, documentation, debugging, and troubleshooting, with the judgment to validate and own AI-generated outputs.
- Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt design, AI-assisted development practices, and common AI application integration patterns.
- Demonstrated ability to independently deliver complex technical solutions with minimal direction.
- Proven experience mentoring engineers and driving engineering best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer certification.
- Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
- Understanding of networking and security principles in cloud environments.
- Exposure to modern AI technologies and frameworks, including Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, AgentCore, agentic workflows, RAG, and MCP, is a plus.
