About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Laravel PHP developer with 3–4 years of hands-on experience to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PHP and Laravel, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications.

The candidate should also be comfortable using AI tools to improve development productivity, debugging, documentation, research, and code quality.

Key Responsibilities

● Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and Laravel.

● Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications.

● Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party APIs.

● Develop and maintain database structures, queries, and relationships.

● Work with MySQL or other relational databases.

● Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.

● Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.

● Optimize application performance and database queries.

● Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend services with web interfaces.

● Work closely with QA teams to identify and resolve bugs.

● Participate in requirement discussions and provide technical inputs.

● Perform code reviews and follow development best practices.

● Maintain technical documentation related to applications and APIs.

● Use AI tools effectively for coding assistance, debugging, code optimization, documentation, research, and development productivity.

● Stay updated with Laravel, PHP, modern development practices, and AI-powered development tools.

Required Skills

● 3–4 years of professional experience in PHP/Laravel development.

● Strong proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework.

● Good understanding of MVC architecture and Laravel application structure.





● Strong knowledge of MySQL and database concepts.

● Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.

● Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend-backend integration.

● Experience with Git/GitHub or similar version control systems.

● Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms.

● Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

● Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

● Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Good to Have

● Experience with Laravel Livewire, Vue.js, React, or similar frontend technologies.

● Knowledge of Redis, queues, caching, and background jobs.

● Experience with Docker or cloud platforms such as AWS.

● Knowledge of CI/CD and deployment processes.

● Experience with third-party API and payment gateway integrations.

● Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.

● 3–4 years of relevant professional experience in PHP/Laravel development.

● Robust communication and teamwork skills.

● Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

● Ability to adapt to a contract-based project environment.
